  1. Janice has highlighted a serious issue here. I’m on immunotherapy drugs, for myeloma, which have the side effect of weakening my immune system. What d’you know, I went down recently with Covid – it’s doing the rounds again. It knocks the stuffing out of you for a while, even if you’re normally fairly fit and healthy. The reality denial Janice highlights here is a serious matter.

    And you can’t help wondering. Are people in influential positions denying reality in other areas of life also? In economics? Foreign affairs? Or…?

    We live in worrying times.
