Reform UK EXPLOSION: Nigel Farage’s Party Set to DESTROY Tory Membership!

An interesting new piece (video, 9:06) on GB News. Between 4:28 – 5:20 there’s a piece on the gender gap in voting intentions of 18-24-year-old men and women, the former being twice as likely as the latter to vote for Reform UK.

Reform UK’s membership is expected to exceed the Conservative party’s membership (131,680) in the coming days. You can view the current Reform membership here (a moment ago it was 124,461). I’m a member and if you’re not, I’d urge you to become one.

With each day that passes I become ever more confident that at the next general election in 2029 (or earlier) Nigel Farage will enter #10 Downing Street as the head of a Reform UK government. Assuming they iimplement a manifesto commitment to proportional representation, the two-party lock on British politics will end. What a wonderful prospect.

War widow Christina Plumb, 49, weeps in court as she is spared prison over ‘relentless’ attack on her second husband at their £1.5m mansion

Our thanks to Jeff for this (Mail). How typical that the headline (above) refers to the woman – who shows no remorse to this day – crying in court, rather than referring to her husband’s life being destroyed (he’s now homeless). Cases like this tell women they can abuse men with impunity.

Matt Goodwin: “The story of Nigel Farage – Part I”

Interesting. The start of the piece:

“This is the first in an exclusive two-part series from the bookMaking the Weather: Six Politicians Who Changed Modern Britain, by Professor Vernon Bogdanor, who has taught one or two prime ministers.

Making the Weather is the story of six postwar politicians, all of whom exerted an outsized influence on our political life —an influence greater than that of most prime ministers.

Vernon Bogdanor’s cast includes three figures from the political Left—Aneurin “Nye” Bevan, Roy Jenkins, and Tony Benn—and three from the Right—Enoch Powell, Keith Joseph, and … Nigel Farage.”

Malgorzata Derbin, 42, single mother-of-one, who drunkenly crashed her car after golf club Christmas drinks, avoids jail as magistrate Sarah Pochin tells her: ‘It is what it is’

Our thanks to Jeff for this. An extract:

“Sarah Pochin, the presiding magistrate and chairman of Cheshire East council, acknowledged Derbin’s distress before fining her £120 and ordering her to pay a further £133 in costs and a victim surcharge.

‘We can see it has been very distressing for you, said Pochin. ‘It is a horrible thing to have happen. [J4MB emphasis: What a statement of female unaccountability / lack of agency.] But it could have been worse. [J4MB emphasis: Always the case, and irrelevant.]

‘No one was hurt. It is what it is. Do not be too hard on yourself. Unfortunately, we all get ourselves into problems.’ ”
