All the papers are covering the Labour government’s (predictable) plans to “diversify” the school curriculum. In plain English, anything which might suggest white men ever produced anything worthwhile will be pulled. As far as schoolchildren are concerned, Shakespeare and Admiral Nelson (among many others) are toast. And so the Cultural Revolution plods on. Just one of many reasons Starmer will be a one-term PM before Nigel takes over in Downing Street. Whereupon we can all spontaneously burst into song, maybe Oh Happy Day.
A close relative of the female persuasion started studying English Literature for A level in 2003. Some years later I happened to mention Graham Greene and she’d never heard of him. She had of course had to endure books by Jane Austen and the Bronte sisters for her course. Which reminds me of a piece we posted in 2013, a rare criticism by a female book critic of an authoress, ‘So dull. So over-rated. Jane Austen doesn’t deserve to be on the £10 note’. Enjoy.

WOT ABOUT THE DUKE OF WELLINGTON AND MONTY ?. WHAT ARE THE CHANCES OF THE TEACHERS UNION VOTING TO NOT WANT TO PLAY BALL WITH THE GOVERNMENT OVER THIS CAT ASTROPHIC CHANGE ?. AM I RIGHT IN THINKING THAT THERE USED TO BE A RIGHT – WING TEACHERS UNION IN THE UK, AND THAT THAT PARTICULAR UNION IS NO LONGER WITH US ?

…IN THE SAME VEIN…WHENEVER I GO INTO A LIBRARY …I LOOK AT THE BALANCE ….IN BOOKS THEREIN …BETWEEN MALE X FEMALE AUTHORS…AND …SURE ENOUGH ….THERE ARE A HELL OF A LOT MORE BOOKS THERE BY FEMALE AUTHORS THAN MALE. FURTHER, IF YOU LOOK AT THE CREDITS FOR CONTRIBUTORS IN OLDER BOOKS …THERE ARE HARDLY EVER ANY FEMALE NAMES MENTIONED. I DO FEAR THAT THAT TREND IS NOW VERY MUCH IN THE REVERSE RATION. EVEN FURTHER MORE….ALMOST ALL THE STAFF IN LIBRARIES ARE FOUL FEMANISTA’S . I AM TREATED IN A MOST REPREHENSIBLE MANNER. THIS IS A CASE OF LOCAL GOVERNMENT OFFICERS NOT DOING THEIR JOBS PROPERLY !.

The graph in this article says it all really. For it lays bare the pattern that is shown in every generation after puberty, that women are far more likely to suffer anxiety and mood disorders (even though men predominate in acute illness and suicide). The solution: teach children “resilience”.Mental health: Children should be more resilient, say experts – BBC News Fascinatingly what it doesn’t want to highlight is that young men are far more resilient than young women after 16. Could it possibly be because they have learned they have to be. After all there are no schemes, programmes, “support”, mentoring for boys because overall education is obsessed with girls and their “mental health”. Perhaps both sexes (just over 20%) find growing up a struggle but boys (toxic oppressors that they are) get no “support”. Just maybe the absence of this contributes to their resilience. And just possibly constantly harping on how weak and in need of help girls are, teaches too many girls that they are ill, rather than sad, or jealous, or envious, or bored, or scared, or angry. For after all the “support” already given 30% of young women lack resilience. And less than 15% of young men. Of course the ideology of the day (feminism) precludes looking at how it is boys develop such resilience, for they are after all simply defective girls that need to be “educated” about their toxicity.
