  1. It’s interesting isn’t it that the actual politics involved is ignored. Just as some how Thatcher was the wrong sort of woman, or Meloni or any other “right wing” female politician… As if women must have one set of political beliefs based on their sex rather than their mind. And it’s telling that apparently the way forward isn’t democracy and listening to electorates, but imposed quotas. “For example, quotas – and political will – helped Mexico achieve gender parity in 2018, after former president Andrés Manuel López Obrador decided the parliament should be 50% women” In other words discrimination against men was enacted by the President to tell the electorate who to vote for ! Maybe electorates can see the disdain with which they are regarded.
