Quite a few are simply teacher training colleges or FE Colleges that turned themselves into “University”.
I have no sympathy for Prof. Stock who was a “feminist philosopher” until she fell foul of the feminists who took the philosophy to its logical conclusion and decided if “gender” is “performative” then anyone could change the performance. Stock’s position, like most TERfs, is based on the idea that all males are predatory and therefore even those who want to join the sistas must be evil. While of course demanding women not be excluded from all male clubs!. And to be frank she’s not been “silenced” at all as she’s all over the media like a rash.
