Teachers will be trained to challenge ‘whiteness’ in schools

Appalling (Telegraph, £). Note that this was already well underway when the Conservatives were in power. An extract from the article:

“Teachers will be instructed in how to “disrupt the centrality of whiteness” in schools, according to a best-practice document.

The term “whiteness” in critical race theory refers to social attitudes considered normal by white people, and guidance suggests that concepts including “meritocracy”, “objectivity” and “individualism” should be questioned.”

Australian court rules in landmark case (Tickle v Giggle) that asked ‘what is a woman?’

Our thanks to Nigel for this. An extract:

“But Justice Robert Bromwich said in his decision on Friday that case law has consistently found sex is “changeable and not necessarily binary”, ultimately dismissing Giggle’s argument.”

Case law is, evidently, an ass.

Nigel commented as follows in response to the video of a woman in the military unable to fire a cannon:

“But women are equally as capable as men and if they can’t meet the physical requirements it’s sexist (or now as we call it, misogynistic) not to reduce the standards! In public “services” such as the Army, Navy, Airforce, Police, Fire services and Paramedics. Ones where the price of this is paid by people in need of help and by colleagues’ lives. Because of course feminist orthodoxy is now western orthodoxy in Gender studies; gender is a performance that can be learned and changed and biology a minor inconvenience. Except of course in sports where suddenly those very same feminists declare it obvious that boys and men will always win because of their Biology! Not only men but apparently girls and women with “raised testosterone” who have always performed “woman” from their birth to their triumphs in the Olympic Games Boxing.

“This suppurating sore (yawning chasm) in feminism should be constantly picked at by anti feminists because it illustrates the idiocy of the whole enterprise. Clearly the woman unable to fire the cannon would be a liability on the battlefield, yet the gender theorists will claim it was the equipment that was wrong and the enemy should wait until lighter cannons are available. Yet in the Olympics the two life long females so hated by the Terfs were powerful because they had a condition that gave them “too powerful punches” and women will “always lose” if facing women with such a condition, men who have lots of “treatment” and; shock horror, actual men. The latter clearly gifted with apparently superhuman physical attributes that would obliterate “women’s sport”, due to their biology. I don’t know why more feminists aren’t pressed on this point, if it’s vital men (or even individuals with a lot of male hormones) do not compete in sport (where there is little real danger or actual impact on the world except as entertainment) how come it’s just fine and dandy to pretend that this is not so where the price of failure is so much more serious, involving people’s lives?

On a lighter note one must congratulate Mr Tickle (Roxanne Tickle) for his success against the company “Giggle”. Partly because the names accurately reflect the level of farce we have been reduced to. His/her achievement being to make it possible to join a Cabal of Karens (thank you Carl Benjamin) dedicated to whining about men.”

Sir Adrian Smith, president of the Royal Society, calls for overhaul to ‘relative’ grading for Maths GCSEs, as report proposes system in which 100% of pupils could pass

Give me strength (Times, £). Is this suggestion being made to hide the fact that boys do better than girls in Maths GCSEs?

Bettina Arndt: “Movember is a fake”

Interesting. Good to see the Australian organisation exposed as the money-grabbing anti-male charlatans they are.
