Justice for Men & Boys 
This brings to mind the high profile cases of Eddie Kidd and Stephen Hawking. Both abuses by their wives. It is good that cases are being prosecuted, however its also galling that these are counted as “Violence against Women and Girls” in official statistics. The whole thing shows the duplicity in the DV “industry”, for currently male victims are the minority of the cases investigated and year on year official reports say men are far less likely to report their abuse. And in any other sphere such evidence of being “marginalised” would trigger additional support for the “minority” group. Yet in DV these very facts are used as evidence that there is no need for extra efforts to reach out to males nor any need to invest in services to support the marginalised group. Not doing either of these things effectively ensures that males remain excluded from both justice and support, not by accident but by deliberate public policy.
