  1. Such important work. Not only for male students in the US but also to “shift the narrative”. In the UK we have seen that the real nurturance of what has become a feminist hegemony in public policy, occurs in the leading educational institutions . Noe least because it is from those institutions that politicians, civil servants, corporate business leaders etc. come from. It is in this way that things that are very clearly nonsensical, such as assisting women as a “minority” by discriminating against an actual minority men, in the name of equality. Are enacted despite the nonsense. And the feminists know this. A simple example is UCAS, where Mary Curnock-Cook repeatedly pointed out the emperor has no clothes by pointing out boys and men are in the minority of university applicants and acceptances. The true danger of this is demonstrated by the fact her successor as head of UCAS changed their “diversity” reporting to a convoluted formula that conceals the data on sex.

This vital work in America is both good for male students in challenging what their Colleges do and how they are treated. And at the same time repeatedly shows the nonsense of the application of “Title IX” affirmative action when it discriminates against a minority on the grounds they are a majority!

In this country the Legislation (Equality Act) and Universities are different. However the principles are much the same. Except in very specific instances the actual Legislation is “gender neutral” and the protections are on the basis of sex , not one specific sex. However as in Title IX “guidance” documents and general assumptions presume that the protections apply only to females. Increasingly employment cases are demonstrating the widespread use of illegal practices of “positive action” ( the UK version of US affirmative action) in recruitment, employment and promotions with even Police Forces (the irony) and the forces, the Royal Marines and Royal Air Force, losing cases brought in employment tribunals. The more these happen the more men will see that it is simply not legal to discriminate against them, and the cases will demonstrate the truth that what is happening is discrimination against men.

Oh for a benefactor with deep pockets to support well founded legal challenges from men and organizations to things that may well be “policy” or written into administrative guidance, but which are illegal according to the current law. For instance almost everything about Title IX affirmative action in the US is in fact illegal according to the Equality Act. Yet I’m sure many in this country believe the reverse, and sadly in our far less litigious society too rarely do cases get heard that demonstrate the reality.
