“A recent poll shows a majority of young people around the world think feminist policies have gone too far. According to the Ipsos survey, 52% of Gen Z and 53% of Millennials in 32 countries agree that “we have gone so far in promoting women’s equality that we are discriminating against men.”
In this era of “lived experience” this actually shouldn’t surprise. It is after all only common sense that if you discriminate in favor of one group you are inevitably discriminating against the unfavored group/s. Hence generally people tend to think of “equality” in terms of equal treatment and opportunity, rather than the equality industry’s somewhat convoluted schemes to justify “positive discrimination” or more dissembling “positive action”. The actual “lived experience” of young men and young women will actually be direct discrimination against males to favor females. This will be particularly widespread and obvious in education and employment, particularly as in both increasingly full on feminism is a part of education or training. The reason so many “agree” is because, put simply, males are discriminated against in their daily lives and have “lived experience” of exactly that.
