Good news: Sir Paul Marshall may acquire ownership of The Telegraph and The Spectator

Good news. Foreign governments will be blocked from owning UK newspapers and magazines amid concerns over the proposed UAE-backed takeover of The Telegraph and The Spectator. Leading potential buyers of the title include the estimable Sir Paul Marshall, a British hedge fund manager and Brexiteer and evangelical Christian said by The Sunday Times to be worth £630 million. He already owns UnHerd and GB News, and has invested tens of millions of pounds in the latter, keeping it afloat. We should be delighted if he were to add ownership of The Telegraph and The Spectator to his list of assets.
