A generous donor asked for an example of how the BBC treats complaints, so I sent him the link to a piece from 2014, when we made an official complaint to the BBC about 50+ breaches of their Editorial Guidelines in a piece about domestic violence on Newsnight. The complaint was dismissed, the subsequent appeal likewise.
