  1. Interesting. I note she got a suspended sentence. Now I was prepared to go against the flow on this. For of course generally its men that get actual prison time for such offenses. And as we know they are more often accused (one reason males give to leaving teaching or not entering the profession). So generally its mainly men whose lives go on to be blighted by being “registered”. So I did a bit of research on Eppie Sprung’s charity. I was disappointed, but maybe not surprised, that links to her Blog show a typical “poor me ” attitude combined with “its worse for women” feminism. It seems despite avoiding prison, unlike a man in her position. Because of “the patriarchy” somehow women need more help. The information put out by “Next Chapter Scotland” on its social media. May well help male ex offenders but generally its pretty clear that its a women focused concern. Deeply disappointing as I believe it is particularly men who are given a sort of “mark of Cain” that blights their lives long after prison, often in fulfillment of the feminists belief all males have an original sin which means they are “all rapists”.
