A £5,000 payout is a second slap in the face for these white male applicants discriminated against for their race and/or sex. Should have been £500,000. The RAF disclosures from this lawsuit is hard evidence that many BAME and female pilots have been diversity hires. There should be no racial or gender diversity programmes, but to have them in the military, sanctioned at the very top – and by politicians, too – is nothing short of treasonous.

Clearly this form of illegal direct discrimination against white men is widespread in public services. In the FSU newsletter a woman is paid £100,000 by the DWP. “Anna’s fears were realised when she was then asked to help the Department organise some recruitment sessions for the Metropolitan Police which excluded heterosexual white men”. Apart from being illegal this practice is clearly dangerous as it means the Public are not being protected by the best Police candidates and the nation is being served by armed forces seriously under strength and with key people simply “diversity hires”.

Thanks Nigel. A woman not personally affected employment-wise gets £100k and men personaly affected get £5k. How much potential income must the men have lost?Absolutely OBSCENE!!!

The Sky story actually covers illegal practices in the recruitment directly discriminating against white males, in the offer of training to advance their careers by offering key training only to women and “BAME” candidates and in fast tracking the advancement of only women and BAME officers. And the evidence shows these practices to be endemic in all parts of the RAF, not just pilots. You can be sure that the same illegal practices are also in the other branches of the armed forces. As in the case won by the FSU and other won agains Cheshire and Thames Valley Police the same illegality in directly discriminating against white males in recruitment, training and advancement are found everywhere in public services of all sorts. It is probably too much too hope this blatant illegality in the RAF will open the lid on the much more widespread nature of this scandal.
