A story of a rugby-playing prison officer beating up a former partner in a bedroom. Of course one unusual thing is that both are women. But do we notice anything missing? Well, one thing is a custodial sentence, not even the usual suspended one for reserved for women. Anything else? Well, no mention of “domestic violence” although the incident very clearly was exactly that. But of course only nasty people with penises can carry out domestic violence.
