We’ve just learned some good news which hasn’t yet been made public. Philip Davies MP (C, Shipley) will be standing again at the forthcoming general election, on 12 December. It will be interesting to see if the Women’s Equality Party fields a candidate in Shipley. The party’s former leader, Sophie “Doughnuts” Walker, lost her deposit there at the 2017 general election. Later that year, she led a Reading University alumni team to a 220-0 defeat on University Challenge. That’s feminists for you – universally challenged.
