The British film director Anthony J Corniche III (Tom) is an unsung hero of the MRM. He filmed presentations at the last four ICMIs, and edited the footage of the first three. He’ll be filming presentations at the next two conferences in Australia (2020) and North America (2021). I had the great pleasure during the closing ceremony in Chicago of presenting him – to his surprise – with the inaugural Quentin Tarantino Award for Directing Excellence.

Two weeks before the conference, in response to concerns that Elizabeth and/or myself might be prevented from attending the event, Tom video recorded both of us delivering our talks, in a studio in Brixton. The studio had only one flaw, being located under a busy train line. Tom’s video of selected out-takes of Elizaeth and myself is here (5:36).
