Linda Bellos

I recently posted a video (10:08) of a discussion I had on RT TV with Linda Bellos, a 68-year-old lesbian radical feminist with two 40-something children by a man she married in 1970. My thanks to Kate for pointing out that her name is an anagram of “lesbian doll”.

The phantom milkshaker of Cambridge University has been identified, but has so far declined to call the police

I’ve just had an update from the policeman working on the case of the female student who threw a milkshake over me a few hours before our talks at Cambridge University. The university has identified her – she’s (allegedly) the woman in the video (4:32) taken by Natty Kadifa, who courageously ran after and apprehended her – and asked her to contact him. So far she’s declined to contact him, so he’s repeated his request to the university to ask her to contact him. I’ll bring you developments as they happen. I look forward to seeing her – and hopefully others, including the Varsity photographer, (allegedly) the man shown near the end of Natty’s video – facing charges in court.

The public house where the assault took place has mailed me a file of their related CCTV footage, I’ll publish it on our YouTube channel upon receipt.

Mark Field’s ejection of a female Greenpeace protester from a room in the Mansion House: “Peaceful protest? No, moral blackmail”

TCW have just published an interesting piece on the Mansion House ejection. Paul T Horgan starts:

So Mark Field MP is being pilloried by the ‘right-on’, and not just for being a Conservative. The footage of him stopping a Greenpeace protester from getting close to the Chancellor of the Exchequer has gone viral.

There are calls by the virtue-signallers for him to be punished for his actions. Their argument is that this was a ‘peaceful’ protest. They also state that the protester, being a woman in an evening dress, posed no threat.

They are being quite racist with the latter assertion. It is just that no one seems to have noticed this. And the reason for this is that the only people who would have noticed this are the same people who are objecting to Mr Field’s prompt actions.

Horgan could also have made the more obvious point that the virtue-signallers are being sexist. Had the protester been a man, Mark Field would have been applauded by all and sundry, and not been fired from his position as a junior minister.

Lisa Scotney, 54, mother, bankrolled cannabis farm in a £2million country mansion. Suspended sentence, because her parents and children rely on her.

Our thanks to Mike P for this. An extract:

Scotney showed little emotion when she was sentenced at Warwick Crown Court yesterday for her part in the ‘moderately sophisticated enterprise’.

Recorder Kenneth Carr said he would ordinarily have jailed her for 27 months but was able to reduce the sentence to two years, suspended for two years.

This was because of a long delay in bringing the case to court, the fact Scotney had ‘very bright’ eight-year-old twins who would be deprived of their mother and also because her elderly parents relied on her as their only child.

Let’s enable Jon Baily to attend ICMI19, Chicago

Jon Baily and his 16-year-old son attended our recent Cambridge University talks. Both were later assaulted by protesters. He’s courageously allowed his identity to be known, and has publicly spoken the truth about those assaults.

We’ve just launched a crowdfunder to raise the £1,800 required to cover the costs for Jon to attend the Chicago conference, and I’ve personally donated £50 towards it. Please contribute what you can. Jon richly deserves to attend the conference. Thanks.

Eindhoven University, The Netherlands: Female academics are too scarce. So their applications are going to the top of the pile.

Our thanks to UK Men’s Rights Action for this. The start of the piece in The Guardian by Frank Baaijens, rector of Eindhoven University of Technology:

Engineering has a huge impact on society. To responsibly advance science and technology, [J4MB: Were they irresponsibly “advanced” in the past?] a university should be a balanced reflection of society. [J4MB: Why?] As a top engineering university we believe that diversity and inclusiveness is crucial for the quality of our teaching and research. [J4MB: Why is it crucial? Is the same true for psychology, medicine, or the many other disciplines dominated by women?] More than that, we believe we can turn a fully representative academic workforce into a unique strength. This is why, from 1 July, all our job vacancies will be exclusively open to female candidates for the first six months after they are advertised.

This is certainly a radical step, as the international  headlines about our moveattest. But we felt it was a necessary step as the more subtle measures we tried over the past 10 years were to no avail. [J4MB: Call me crazy, but I’m starting to think women are not inclined towards the field of engineering. I’m ready for you now, doctor.] The targets we set for female recruitment and the missionary work of our chief diversity officers were certainly useful in making our staff and community aware of inequalities and their own biases. As a result, at least two women are now on every selection panel. And yet, the gender imbalance persists with only 16% of our full professors being female – one of the lowest percentages in the Netherlands, and indeed in Europe. [J4MB: The gender balance persists despite there being at least two women on every selection panel? It’s a mystery, all right.]

What has become clear is that during the recruitment and selection processes, all of us – males and females alike – have an unconscious bias that means we gravitate towards male candidates. This makes it harder for women to start and develop their academic careers. To address this unfair situation, we had to take affirmative action, even at the risk of upsetting some male candidates for jobs.

We can conclude at least one thing from the article. Frank Baaijens is a blithering idiot. A rector talking out of his rectum.
