Sometimes, when making a cup of coffee or tea, I catch a few minutes of TV. And so it was this morning that I caught an advert (0:30) for a Ralph Lauren fragrance, Woman. 4.6 million views in 14 months. Now I know you shouldn’t look for great profundity in adverts, but this one actually made me burst out laughing, so vacuous and absurd was the soundtrack. Enjoy:
