Former Employees of Refuge Warn of “Toxic” Culture at Domestic Violence Charity

Our thanks to David for bringing this to our attention.

David writes: “This has all been buried up but ultra feminist organisation Refuge, were complained against to the Charity Commission about the toxic culture at work. They run the National Domestic Abuse Helpline no less (they receive £250,000 per year from the Home Office) and a large number of local council and other contracts.

A charity set up to help women bullied by their partners becomes a feminist organisation and then is itself an organisation that bullies its own staff and is deemed as toxic.

Oh, the irony.”
