  1. There is a onion like layering of issues.

Firstly should non-politically correct and vicious political cartoons be published despite offending the targets and other groups. – Yes absolutely.

Should that include things that can be interpreted as sex acts – Yes absolutely.

It should also be clear that this cartoon is not about sex or homosexuality but brown nosing.

Should the BBC publish attacks on Donald Trump/Piers Morgan. I think not. Personally I think Piers Morgan is outrageously obsequious and hypocritical and unprincipled and I think Donald Trump is dishonest, self-obsessed and self serving but it is not for the BBC to publicise cartoons lampooning them. They should maintain a clearly neutral stance.

  2. Good. The BBC do deserve lambasting for double standards. Personally not a fan of censorship but as the BBC does censor and call for more it deserves its hypocrisy being shown up.

    • Couldn’t agree more; on free speech grounds I actually think they had every right to broadcast this cartoon (which I for one find quite amusing). But Piers ‘Moron’ Morgan is equally right (for once!!!) when he says that they would never broadcast a similar image if it was of a pair of women. Just try and imagine a TV broadcast featuring a cartoon Theresa May receiving analingus from Cathy Newman (you are welcome for the mental image). It would never happen here or in any other Western country, and we all know it. The feminazi outrage would give society a collective stroke.

  3. Yes, these politically incorrect cartoons should be published. However, there can be little doubt that the BBC would have refused to publish a similar cartoon had the subject been President Hilary Clinton being interviewed by an alleged ‘obsequious’ female. Typical BBC double standards and hypocrisy.
