Jess Phillips “totally unacceptable that women should be hired in as a herd to entertain a group of entitled rich men”. Well if it’s equality you want, how come you haven’t tried to outlaw The Chippendales et al?
I see the ‘fragrant’ Ms. Phillips has weighed in (weigh being the operative word) on the debate.
If only she had been in attendance, I’m sure that any man present would have immediately been put off the idea of sex for at least a week.
What I find very depressing is that sensible charities, such as the Great Ormond St Fund, have declared that they shall not accept any residue donation that may arise from the winding up of the President’s Club. Meaning that the Great Ormond St Fund has decided to act as if the President’s Club is guilty by uncorroborated accusation. This is the most ridiculously sanctimonious and pious volte-face for a charity that was, until about five minutes ago, perfectly happy to receive generous donations from the President’s Club.
The two journalists who pulled this ridiculous stunt have zero experience of working in the entertainment business. I daresay they are also introverted lesbians who would, in normal circumstances, avoid the social company of men altogether. It is ridiculous for two such unsuitable persons to be given such undue attention when they project their feminist misandry onto the successful men who generously support the President’s Club.
If young women who do this job on a regular basis, i.e. regular hostesses, come out to complain about the President’s Club, then such a complaint would need to be taken seriously. However, the fact that two lesbian bluestockings have decided to be wilfully malicious is trivial.
Any feminist journalists going undercover here I wonder?.. or doesn’t puritanism have an interest in this side of the coin?
And no money raised for charity on this occasion … just the humiliating objectification of scantily clad event staff.
…Offensive? Sexually Exploitative? Demeaning? ..Nah!.. this is just about girls having a larf. It’s just a bit ‘o fun, ainnit? Don’t do no harm, does it?!…
Today, a mere allegation by a woman can bring down any man or institution. Is this a good system? Is this system in the best interest of the society? Since we all know the answer to that question, the next one we have to ask is how could this type of social madness possibly come into being. And the answer to that is our irrational, illogical worship of women, reinforced by the gentleman doctrine. In order to fix what’s broken, we must start dismantling this ultra gyno-centric mindsets of our men. Nothing else is going to stop this hysteria.

Apparently it’s perfectly acceptable to” hire them in as a herd “to fill woman only shortlists.
