We’ve posted a lot of material on Jordan Peterson in recent days, and he deserves all the appreciation he’s been getting. Time to give a little exposure to another remarkable Canadian, the inimitable Karen Straughan, and her new piece, Too dreadful even for Metro… (video, 29:32). Ably assisted by Dr Randomercam, the piece bears Karen’s hallmarks of clear-eyed honesty, intellectual and emotional impact, and humour. She never disappoints.
Karen has spoken at all the International Conferences on Men’s Issues since the first in Detroit, in 2014, and at the coming July conference her talk title will be, “Why women must consign feminism to the dustbin of history”. Justice for Men & Boys 
Superb.
A novel way to present acknowledgement, championing, celebration and appreciation of all the great things males have done and are doing for us all.
Unfortunately our society takes all the great achievements so much for granted that it forgets and fails to acknowledge the vast contribution males as a class have made to the progress we have to date.
This sort of presentation promoting reasons males need to be proud of their gender is long overdue.
There needs to be more of it.
It’s great that a woman has pointed these reasons out.
Men need to start widely promoting the many reasons to be proud of their gender.
Fathers (and mothers) need to pass down to their sons (and daughters) knowledge of the vast contribution males have made.
I’d like to think as many young males as possible could get to see this, help them hold up their heads a little higher whilst living in a society where the media present such a continuous stream of negative portrayal of males.
A personal thank you from myself to the majority of good men out there for your initiative, bravery, inventiveness and problem solving abilities.
