1. Thanks for posting this piece, Mike.

   As articles go, it’s a huge improvement on what often appears in Irish mainstream newspapers (the ‘Irish Independent’ included) which, when it comes to feminism and political correctness, are little different from their UK counterparts.

   These days I’m more and more disinclined to buy a newspaper every day, not because I can’t afford to (I can!) but because I can think of better things to do with my money than funding PC and putting it into the pockets of pulpiteering feminist journalists (and their male fellow-travellers). Consequently, an article like this comes a great and welcome surprise (though I won’t hold my breath just yet in anticipation of any significant change in Irish mainstream media – that very much remains to be seen).
