Emmanuel Macron, French President, is a blithering idiot

French President Emmanuel Macron has spoken out against domestic violence, saying it shames France that a woman is killed every three days.

In a speech marking International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, he said the silence around the issue must be broken.

He has made gender equality one of the main themes of his five-year term in office. [J4MB: Does he want more women killed, up to the same number as men being killed? Or does he want fewer men killed, down to the same number as women being killed?]

During his election campaign last year, Mr Macron said that the issue of violence against women [J4MB emphasis] would be a priority for his presidency…

Other measures will include an app for victims of online stalking and “on demand” bus stops in the evening, where women [J4MB emphasis] can stop a bus anywhere at night so they can get home safely. [J4MB: Most victims of street violence are men, so it makes complete sense to restrict the stopping of buses anywhere at night to women only. Maybe men should self-identify as women for the purpose of stopping buses at night? They could hold up placards bearing the words, ‘Je suis une femme, arretez immediatement!!!’, as a bus approaches.]

Deputy Chief Constable Iain Livingstone, Police Scotland, is a blithering idiot

Another blithering idiot who has swallowed and repeated the White Ribbon campaign propaganda – here. An excerpt:

Mr Livingstone, the most senior of Scotland’s three deputy chief constables, recently delayed plans to retire after it was announced that Chief Constable Phil Gormley had been put on special leave as allegations of gross misconduct against him are investigated.

He said: “Every day our officers and staff work to tackle violence against women, to prevent offences and make our communities safer for all.

“Violence against women takes many forms, whether it’s sexual crime, domestic abuse, human trafficking, female genital mutilation or another form of abuse.

“The vast majority of these offences take place in private or in virtual space rather than public spaces.

“While most men do not perpetrate violence against women, the overwhelming majority of offenders are men.
