What was the point of this trial? Why are women being prosecuted for crimes, when they’re not going to be adequately punished if found guilty?

A former Vogue cover model has revealed details of her years as a ‘pleasure wife’ for the world’s richest man, an arms dealer from Saudi Arabia.

Speaking on Channel Nine’s 60 Minutes on Sunday night, Jill Dodd, now 58, lifted the veil on her life with notorious billionaire Adnan Khashoggi, who was almost 30 years her senior.

Ms Dodd revealed she was a ‘naïve’ 21-year-old model when she met Khashoggi at a party and he wrote on her arm in blood as a means of introducing himself.

‘He pulled up my sleeve and he wrote ‘I love you’ I was like oh my god that’s blood and I was kind of shocked, but I thought it was really funny and cute at the same time,’ she said.

Hmm, so a 21-year-old model finds it ‘really funny and cute’ when a billionaire does that to her. How about if he’d been a sewage worker?

The Treasury Select Committee has also launched an inquiry into perceived barriers [J4MB: Not real barriers, then] to women entering and climbing up in the financial services industry.

“More women than men are employed in the financial services sector, but female representation at senior levels has been historically low,” Ms. Morgan said.

“Gender diversity across job grades and functions delivers benefits to firms, society and the wider economy.” [J4MB: What ‘benefits’ are these, other than greater gender diversity – a circular argument – and only a benefit in feminist ideological terms?]
