Anti-MGM protest, Conservative party conference – a mention in The Times

We’re about to start the second day of protesting, the first went very well, we’ll be publishing a video in due course. Our thanks to the people supporting us, some have travelled a long way, and are attending at personal expense.

I was interviewed yesterday by a journalist working for The Times, the article is here. It’s a short article, but this is the key paragraph:

Those continuing to protest today also represented nuclear disarmament, stop HS2, anti-fracking, anti-NHS privatisation and anti-male genital mutilation.

  1. I don’t recall seeing any reports of anti-MGM protests at the Labour party conference. Is there any particular reason for this? I may be wrong, but I should have thought, at the Conservative conference you’d be more likely to be preaching to the converted.

    • Only the party or parties in power can do what we seek in the area of MGM. To have protested outside the Labour party conference would have been a waste of resources, plus Comrade Corbyn is on record as a supporter of brit milah.
