Kate Millett, lesbian feminist and author, died on 6 September, aged 82. Her sister Mallory wrote an article in 2014, Marxist feminism’s Ruined Lives. It’s lengthy but well worth reading in full, if you can spare the time.

I did read this, and have just read it again.
Everything in it has come, or is coming, to pass.
The West may have won the Cold War, but we are losing the peace, not to an external enemy armed to the teeth with tanks and nukes, but by a pernicious corruption which destroys from within, silently to start with, becoming apparent only in it’s more advanced stages.
Which is why feminism is so often compared to Cancer

I think it is almost “compulsory”. It fascinates me how conservatives (big and small “C”) have been so frequently fooled into supporting this agenda oblivious it seems to the broader agenda. To be honest I think it is just ignorance of the agenda. So for equality one can see the crusty of old Conservatives gaily supporting, with unctuous chivalry, measures that together totally undermine their own political stance. By his own honest admission Philip Davies MP would have continued to wholehearted support the idea women are more harshly punished than men, as he did in debates until he asked for data. And of course found he’d been fed lies. But of course the point is up until that point he’d taken the chivalrous view.
