With majority of teachers women, at the primary level, somehow I’m not surprised. If this is the best female teachers and lawmakers can come up with, I wish we went back to the good old days when at least half the teachers were men and boys were boys and girls were girls. I am beginning to doubt whether female teachers and principals are up to the task given to them.. Considering educational standards are going down and genders getting confused,
something is not quite right.
I believe about 90% of primary school teachers today, and about 75% of secondary school teachers, are female. The proportions have risen considerably over the decades. The UK has been slipping down international league tables for educational attainment for many years.
