Given how anti-male the courts are when it comes to divorce settlements and child custody arrangements, we often use the metaphor of the state handing brides loaded guns on their wedding days. Some of the wives later fire those guns, some don’t. It’s a lottery for men. I’m reminded of a couple of images – here and here – which are downloadable from our website Men shouldn’t marry.

How can this be a defence for the crime of shoplifting?] and you do have a potentially bright future, we will deal with this more leniently than we should have.’

In the meantime many thousands of young men are serving time in British prisons for much lesser offences, their future job prospects (and therefore life prospects) damaged, maybe permanently.

In the unlikely event that any followers of this blog are unfamiliar with the Honey Badger video, the inspiration behind the Honey Badger Brigade, it’s accessible here (3:20). Published in 2011, it’s had 83.6 million views and received 450,000+ upvotes. Those numbers are higher than what we’ve come to expect for pieces published on the J4MB YouTube channel.

I recently spent a highly enjoyable evening with half a dozen MRAs in Cambridgeshire, and after a few beers the conversation turned to hilarious videos recorded by MRAs. There are, by definition, no hilarious videos recorded by feminists. Two words. Kate Smurthwaite.

For my money, one of the funniest MRA videos ever recorded was Hot Crazy Matrix: Man’s Guide To Women (7:05).

In three days’ time, Sunday 6 August, I’ll be joining the stalwarts of The London Group at Speaker’s Corner. I don’t agree with all their positions, but their narratives on gender-specific issues and the scourge of feminism are generally sound, and it takes courage to speak publicly in the face of sometimes hostile people (including the harpy dubbed “Big Red’s Sister”.) A number of people will be wearing bodycams and using videocams to record proceedings – and any hostility shown towards us – for later publication on TLG’s YouTube channel (first link in this piece) as well as our channel.

The speaking should start around 10:30 a.m. The plan is to break for lunch around 1:30, and after returning we’ll finish about 4:30. I hope you can join us. Remember to bring a waterproof coat, just in case.

An interesting piece in the Metro by their US News Editor, who’s British. He links to a paper which has the following on the position in the UK:

In the United Kingdom, iMGC [J4MB: Infant Male Genital Cutting] is exceedingly rare, likely less than 1 percent, and those are mostly done at the demand of the parents’ religion of choice. Two reports estimated that 3.1 percent or 3.8 percent of boys will be genitally mutilated by their fifteenth birthday, which should help to substantiate this low estimate. iMGC has not been covered by the National Health Service since WWII.

These percentages are substantially lower than we understand to be the case, although we believe the practice to be on the decline among Britons who are neither Muslim or Jewish. On the other hand, both Jews (especially Haredi Jews) and Muslims tend to have more children than the non-Muslim and non-Jewish population.

According to the 2011 UK Census, about 2.8 million (4.4%) of the British population is Muslim. This is over ten times larger than the Jewish population, almost 270,000 (0.4%).
