Just noticed sexist BBC “comedy” offering £5k to northern women comedians. However, the icing on the cake is that it’s to commemorate Caroline Aherne, known for prolonged domestic violence against her ex partner. So they’re celebrating violence against men with a nice bit of sexism against men!

  1. It was originally to be a competition open to men as well, but they realised that the prize money would then have to be 20% higher if a man won. They’re just being careful with tax-payer’s money.

    [Or whatever percentage the unicorn “pay gap” is supposed to be these days.]
