Women are statistically much safer, both physically and sexually, marrying or cohabiting with a heterosexual man rather than with a lesbian.

  1. And of course the core reason for this “imbalance” is that from childhood males are taught to protect females and certainly never to hit one. Indeed this powerful social rule is precisely why the Feminist DV industry prospers because its the easiest thing possible to drum up outrage about a male hitting a female at any age. The absolute opposite of the feminist lie that society “condones” male on female violence. A truly “big lie”
Of course this also means DV is more prevalent between gay men. As same sex relationships cut across the M/F norm of male protection of females.

    • True, but levels of DV in lesbian couples are much higher than in gay couples. A year or two back the ONS stopped reporting the gender balance of same-sex partner DV, presumably in a bid to hide the truth. We are seeing ever more feminist politicisation of the ONS.

      • They are indeed. One theory being that without any cultural “rules” for female violence it is literally “out of control”. I suspect that in addition to not fitting the feminist patriarchy narrative the much greater volatility of same sex relationships was also thought unhelpful to the “gay marriage ” drive. A couple of reasons to “lose” the data.

  2. As one of the commentators on the original article pointed out, there are implications here for child adoption. How stable and enduring are these relationships? What is the level of child abuse and neglect in these relationships? Is it right that children should be experimented on in this way, especially vulnerable children who are already damaged by being unable to be brought up by their parents?
