Our thanks to Sean for this. The start of the piece:

Eleanor Wilson, a physics teacher at a school in Bristol, engaged in oral sex with the pupil in the toilet cubicle and then had sex with him, a disciplinary panel found.

A couple of years age a local male piano teacher was jailed for placing his hand on a boy pupils genitals. What really did for him was that the police found child porn on his computer. What this woman did is surely 10 times worse. I am not arguing that she should go to jail but I would like to see some consistency.

‘I am not arguing that she should go to jail … ‘
Imprisonment seems not unreasonable to me.

I saw somewhere, this morning, the claim that the woman was ‘set up’. An allegation of rape can’t be long delayed.

Too often we hear of female perpetrators being given suspended prison sentences where a male perpetrator would have been jailed. A recent case of a residential care home female manager who stole a large amount of money from an old man in her care comes to mind. However, I believe it’s possible for members of the public to initiate appeals against sentences they believe to have been not severe enough. Time to take advantage of this option before feminists get it closed down for convicted females.
