Jenny Proudfoot, hatchet-faced feminist ‘journalist’: “Here’s why MP Philip Davies’ re-election is dangerous for women”

The conference was an absolute triumph, it was a joy meeting so many well-informed and friendly MRAs, mostly of the Australian persuasion, some of the female persuasion. Many were deeply appreciative of the work we do at J4MB, and had followed us closely from our launch in 2013. There was serious talk of launching an Australian men’s rights party. The Australian electoral system is more advantageous towards minor parties than the ‘first past the post’ system we have in the UK.

We look forward to posting the conference presentations over coming weeks. Anthony Corniche III did a sterling job of filming the presentations and more over three days.

I’m at Adelaide airport for a few hours before catching a 14-hour flight to Dubai en route to Heathrow, so catching up on some work.

A vacuous piece in Marie Claire. In stark contrast, the comments are insightful, none of them supporting the hatchet-faced Ms Proudfoot.

Karen Straughan Q&A – Mark Latham’s ‘Outsiders’ show

It’s 00:40 here in Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia, and a fierce gale is blowing (it’s winter). I’ve just enjoyed a couple of hours consuming pizza and beer – provided by the good people at AVfM, the conference organizers – with many people connected with the conference. In less than 10 hours’ time we’ll all be watching a talk by Mark Latham, ‘The Myth of White Male Privilege’. We’ll be posting that video (and all the others) on our YouTube channel in the coming weeks. In the meantime why not enjoy Bettina Arndt interviewing Karen Straughan – both of whom gave barnstorming talks at the conference today – on Mark Latham’s ‘Outsiders’ show (video, 1:00:45)?

“Feminists ‘devastated’ Philip Davies re-elected to Shipley seat.” Oh dear. How sad. Never mind.

A very silly piece in iNews. The (female) journalist repeats the absurd feminist lie that Philip Davies is a self-proclaimed ‘meninist’, a term invented by particularly ignorant feminists who are too blinkered to understand why there will never be a male equivalent of feminism. Davies doesn’t even self-identify as a Men’s Rights Advocate.

Huffington Post: Election Results 2017 – Everyone Is Disappointed Anti-Feminist Philip Davies Has Won Shipley

Enjoy. Philip Davies got 27,417 votes, 51% of the total. Sophie ‘Doughnuts’ Walker of the Women’s Equality Party got 1,040 votes, so Davies got 26 votes for every vote Walker got.

Jess Phillips MP on Swayne O’Pie and Jordan Holbrook: They are ‘weak misogynists’

Our thanks to Paul for this, a tip of the hat to Swayne and Jordan for making waves. Phillips has insulted them on Twitter. There’s no election result I’m more looking forward to than Birmingham Yardley (Jess Phillips v John Hemming), other than Shipley (Philip Davies v Sophie ‘Doughnuts’ Walker).
