A dopey Swedish blonde has nominated herself for a Gormless Feminist of the Month award. Our thanks to Ian for this. The comments section is more worth reading than the article. Extracts:
“The car is a flexible mode of transport, and people find it nice to travel around in their own bubble,” the minister told Göteborgs-Posten. “But the main drawback is that they’re ineffective.
“A normal car in Sweden stands still for 97 per cent of its lifetime and for every car there are eight parking spaces and many miles of road. You can’t call that effective.”
Ms. Skog said that reducing the number of cars on the road is a gender issue because their prevalence in Swedish cities results in men taking space away from women.
“Cars are driven largely by men so by giving a lot of space to cars; we’re giving a lot of space to men — at the expense of women,” she explained…
Feminism in the field of transport policy isn’t new in Sweden, which prides itself on having the world’s “first feminist government”, its website explaining: “This means that gender equality is central to the Government’s priorities – in decision-making and resource allocation.”
In November, however, Stockholm’s policy of “gender-neutral snow ploughing” was called into question after the city was plunged into chaos with hospitals reporting a fourfold increase in broken bones. [my emphasis]
Feminist transport policies resulting in increased harm? Extraordinary, who’d have thought it possible?
If everyone who read this gave us just £1 – or even better, £1 monthly – we could change the world. Click here to make a difference. Thanks.

What planet is she on?

This woman’s job should be a hotel room cleaner, not a policy maker. And being brought up to behave like a gentleman will not prevent me from saying the obvious. It should not.

Women’s back sides are generally bigger than men’s and so take more space. For the sake of gender reality, we need to tax women’s back sides.

Women generally drive slower than men and so occupy the same road space for longer periods of time per KM travelled. Car tax should be more for women.

I thought gender neutral snow clearing must be something changed bytranslation. so I did a bit of digging (sorry). And its perfectly true!!! Of course the feminists had also completely missed that many of the walking women were also using busses and of course many drove or were driven (by men). As importantly they’d forgotten that ambulances and other emergency vehicles also use the roads! Also considering that many of the men driving are the men driving these vehicles and the busses. Rather typically they had ignored the fact that some priorities such as construction related to the safety of workers, because of course the workers are mainly male.
On every front an impractical and dangerous approach to dealing with public safety, this really should get wide publicity as its such a basic and clear expose of the nonsense of seeing everything through “gender”. And an expose of the obsessiveness of feminists.

Most lorries, delivery vans, buses – and all other vehicles where the purpose is economic – are driven by men. Typical of the damned patriarchal swine, these vehicles are all LARGE. They should all be banned forthwith.

Maybe the Swedish moron should look at who already pays the vast majority of taxes.

This is what happens when you have gender quotas for members of parliament.

Karolina Skog? Sounds like an appropriate name for the the peculiarly warped reasoning of those mentally ill women who call themselves feminists.
Example: Men have bigger feet than women, generally, therefore men need bigger shoes using more leather requiring the slaughter of more cows. Therefore animal cruelty is a ‘gendered’ issue.
Response: Oh that’s just a load of old Karolina Skog.
Alternatively, we could replace the possibly racially offensive term Scotch Mist with Karolina Skog.
That aside, women use more tampons and sanitary towels than men and pour more fat down drains, therefore blocked drains are a ‘gendered’ issue.
