FROCKS AWAY! RAF women face being BANNED from wearing skirts on parade thanks to PC ‘madness’ of push to be more ‘inclusive’

Our thanks to Bryn for this. An extract:

One said: “The RAF is a modern and inclusive employer.

“We have men who want to live as women, women who want to live as men and personnel who do not identify with any gender. [Hopefully the vast majority of the men want to live as men, the vast majority of the women as women? Let’s ignore them. On second thoughts, why not force all RAF men and women to wear not trousers on parade, but skirts? Or perhaps alternate between all-trouser and all-skirt parades?]

“The view was we need a uniform policy to cut through all of that and say there is one uniform for everyone and that’s that.

“It’s about including people and encouraging diversity.”

Encouraging diversity. That should help us win the next war…

Another extract:

MP Philip Davies and Colonel Richard Kemp, former commander of British forces in Afghanistan, also blasted the move.

Tory Mr Davies said: “It’s a ludicrous decision.

“I’d imagine it was made by a middle class Guardian-reading male with too much time on his hands and a misguided guilt complex.”

Col Kemp, said: “There are obviously too many people in the RAF with too little to do if they have time to agonise over whether or not women should wear skirts in ceremonial uniform.”

Dame Sally Davies, chief medical officer of England, is a sexist bigot… and why fat women are fat

[Note: This piece was originally published in December 2015.]

Our thanks to Stuart for this.

We’ve published pieces on Dame Sally Davies, chief medical officer of England, an odious feminist, before. But she’s really surpassed herself this time. She’s now in line for a Toxic Feminist of the Month award. Extracts from the article:

Obesity is the biggest threat to women’s health and the health of future generations, warns England’s chief medical officer Dame Sally Davies. Her annual report, which focuses on women this year, said tackling obesity should be a national priority to avert a “growing health catastrophe”.

She said the food industry needed to do more or it should face a sugar tax. Dame Sally is also calling for better treatment of ovarian cancer and more open discussion on incontinence.

England’s top doctor said obesity was so serious it should be a priority for the whole population, but particularly for women because too often it shortened their lives. In England in 2013, 56.4% of women aged 34-44 and 62% of women aged 45-54 were classified as overweight or obese. Obesity increases the risk of many diseases including breast cancer, type 2 diabetes and heart disease…

Elsewhere in the report, the chief medical officer recommended that:

clinical staff be better trained to recognise and respond to violence against women, including female genital mutilation, domestic abuse and sexual violence

more research is needed to improve maternal and child mental and physical health

more research on screening tests, preeclampsia and foetal growth is also needed

children should receive integrated personal, social, health and economic education (PSHE) with sex and relationships education (SRE) at school

a full range of contraception services should be available to all women, at all reproductive ages

Nowhere in the reported quotes from the woman is there any concern for the health of men, nor a recognition of existing double standards in healthcare provision, nor a recognition that obesity is caused by eating and drinking too much and/or exercising too little… but is it, specifically in the case of women? In Feminism: The Ugly Truth – shortly to be made available as a paperback, in addition to the existing ebook edition – there’s a short chapter titled, Why Are Fat Women Fat?. The mystery solved.

Philip Davies: Parliament’s Equality Campaigners Are Hopelessly Detached From Reality

Enjoy. An extract:

I have also made one other observation on the Committee – we only ever seem to hear evidence from people who all have the same (politically correct) opinions and agenda.

On other select committees, we hear evidence from people with competing opinions and perspectives, and then produce a report after weighing up these different views.

On the Women and Equalities Select Committee, we hear from a never-ending supply of organisations in the equality industry nobody in the real world has ever heard from (I would love to know where they all get their money) but we never hear from anyone at all who thinks this agenda is a load of old nonsense.

This was an observation that didn’t go down well with other committee members when I raised it, and was rejected.

Dr. Asao Inoue, University of Washington writing guru, declares American grammar ‘racist’

Our thanks to Martin for this. An extract:

The writing center director, Dr. Asao Inoue, is the brains behind the operation to up-end students’ regressive notions of language. He is a “searcher of anti-racist writing assessment,” according to his Twitter profile, and has published two books on how to promote a “socially just future” by dismantling academic structures that reward proper grammar and usage.

The University of Washington did not immediately respond to Heat Street‘s request for comment, but vice chancellor of student affairs, Dr. Jill Purdy, noted in her own official statement that the program “is a great example of how we are striving to act against racism. Language is the bridge between ideas and action, so how we use words has a lot of influence on what we think and do.”

What next? I’m reminded of a character in Alice in Wonderland:

“When I use a word,” Humpty Dumpty said in rather a scornful tone, “it means just what I choose it to mean — neither more nor less.”

Karen Harradine: Feminists have ruined dating for women

An interesting piece, albeit with some serious flaws. I’ve left the following comments:

“They scold men about mythical pay gaps but ignore the real oppression of women, like FGM, honour killings and arranged marriages.”

Whenever and wherever FGM is practised, it is carried out by women at the behest of women. The notion it is about ‘oppression of women’ is a feminist myth. If the criminal justice system wanted to end FGM in the UK, it would need to target and prosecure middle-aged and elderly black women. It won’t do that, forever (and fruitlessly) trying to pin the crime on men – not one successful prosecution since the FGM Act of 1985, 32 years ago.

Men represent a fair proportion of those subjected to honour killings (as Philip Davies MP pointed out in a recent debate) and arranged marriages.

Women as a class have accepted the privileges won by feminists, not challenged their evil ideology – with very rare exceptions – and collectively thrown men as a class under a bus. And now we’re supposed to feel sorry for them, for some of the consequences of their actions? Forget it. The privileging of women and/or girls in so many areas (20 in our 2015 election manifesto) is the direct cause of the disadvantaging of men and/or boys, and needs to be stopped, for men and boys to have true gender equality.

How Harriet Harman banned cake, guests and photographs on her wedding day ‘to fight the patriarchy’

Our thanks to Mike P for this.

The evil harridan has won a number of our awards including Lying Feminist of the Month and Whiny Feminist of the Month.

The Anti-Feminism League presented her with a Harpy Lifetime Achievement Award in 2012.
