Mike Buchanan’s appearance on ‘The Voice of Europe’

I much enjoyed appearing on tonight’s episode of the AVfM programme ‘The Voice of Europe’, hosted by Lucian Valsan (link below). There’s a news round-up until 46:38, at which point I start contributing to the programme.

Michaela Strachan: ‘Women will never have the expertise men have as they are wired differently’

One of the left-of-centre narratives that annoys me the most, year after year, is the idea that differences in gender preferences, habits etc. are socially conditioned. Anyone who believes such narratives might like to explore any of the following:

Prof Steven Pinker: The Blank Slate

Prof Susan Pinker: The Sexual Paradox

Prof Louann Brizendine: The Female Brain

Prof Simon Baron-Cohen: The Essential Difference

Put simply, the majority of men have male-pattern brains (there are exceptions, e.g. David Cameron) while the majority of women have female-pattern brains (Margaret Thatcher was clearly an exception). Yet public policy is based upon the ‘conditioning is everything’ paradigm, so decade after decade taxpayers’ money is spent in trying to persuade women to go into engineering when it’s mind-numbingly obvious even to the average village idiot that very few women want to become engineers.

My thanks to Katie L for pointing me towards an interesting piece on the TV presenter Michaela Strachan (link below). It’s good to see a women in the public eye speaking the truth in this area.

Mike Buchanan’s appearance tomorrow on ‘A Voice for Europe’

Lucian Valsan, an estimable Romanian gentleman, hosts the regular AVfM radio show, ‘The Voice of Europe’. Tomorrow’s episode kicks off at 7pm with the news round-up, and I expect to be on from around 7:40 for up to 60 minutes. Feel free to call in with questions. A link to the programme may be found here:

From Lucian’s background to the show:

On October 18, Huffnágel Pista, James Huff, Lucian Vâlsan and the guest, Mike Buchanan, will be talking about the vote in the European Parliament’s subcommittees regarding the forced female quotas in private companies’ boardrooms.

We will then talk extensively about the UK political party Justice for Men and Boys (and the women who love them) and Mike’s Campaign for Merit in Business which is essentially a reaction to the EU’s push to throw away merit from private companies in the name of “substantive equality”.

We will also talk about the upcoming European elections, Britain’s next voting and other corollary topics with the purpose of propping up a few ideas on how can both Britain, and the EU as a whole get rid of feminist-influenced policies and laws.

This discussion will be of particular interest for Britons but also for those trapped in the EU. Call in at (001) 310 388 9709, or Skype in, after the news.

Ally Fogg: ‘A personal manifesto for men and boys’

On 13 October Ally Fogg – a prominent Guardian journalist – posted a critique (link below) of nine of the 20 proposals in our public consultation document. In less than four days it’s attracted 421 comments, many of them supportive of our positions.

Someone challenged Ally to present his own list of proposals, and he’s just posted a very interesting new piece (link below). We’ll be giving them serious consideration with respect to adding some of them to our consultation document, and perhaps in time our 2015 general election manifesto.

Why are David Cameron, Sir Roger Carr, Nick Baveystock, and Michel Landel assaulting men in the workplace?

I’ve been thinking a lot of late about the economic emasculation of men which is taking place across the developed and developing worlds. The first in a series of articles on the subject:

I invite you to email me mike@j4mb.org.uk or call me 07967 026163 with your thoughts on the subject. Thank you.
