I’m assured this short BBC video – of Abbie from Shoplife, whatever that is – isn’t a spoof. I’m inclined to believe the assurance – you couldn’t make this up:

Nicki Minaj – ‘Treat Men Like Dogs’
My grasp of popular culture is similar to Ian Hislop’s, so forgive me if I’ve never heard of Nicki Minaj, at least until I read an article about her ten minutes ago (link below). She’s a singer, apparently, and has over 16 million Twitter followers. So I think it fair to conclude she’s a significant cultural influence, at least on young women (and some young men too, presumably). The following article demonstrates misandry is alive and well in popular culture:
Why are the media and police not interested in THESE threats on Twitter?
Given the media and police focus on Twitter threats made against Caroline Criado-Perez, why is there so little interest in THESE threats, made to staff working for GQ (a men’s magazine)?
The following selection of comments was put online by GQ:
The following gem – from ‘Elizabeth’ @slutynarry – was ‘retweeted’ 35 times, and ‘favorited’ 14 times:
CAN I PLEASE STAB EVERY SINGLE PERSON WHO WORKS FOR GQ TY
Will the police spend so much as a second on the vile threats made against GQ staff? Of course they won’t.
Lads’ mags to come in ‘bite-through’ packaging
My thanks to KR for alerting me to this gem:
Female fed up with feminism
A Voice for Men (UK) recently published a very interesting article by a British non-feminist, Elena Rider. It’s titled, ‘Why I don’t need an “ism” to feel like a person, and neither should you’:
http://www.avoiceformen-uk.com/2013/06/i-dont-need-feminism.html
Elena recently started a blog, and we highly recommend it:
So, you want to go to the lake?
I don’t think this needs any commentary from me.

Not all feminists are like that (‘NAFALT’)
Men’s human rights activists are familiar with the acronym NAFALT – Not All Feminists Are Like That. The question is, where are the feminists who are ‘not like that’, and what are they doing to help men who are assaulted by the feminists who ARE like that? They’re invisible. A new video about this persistent reality, by John Hembling – John the Other (‘JtO’) – Editor-in-Chief of A Voice for Men:

Dr Brooke Magnanti (formerly ‘Belle de Jour’): ‘If stopping girls jelly wrestling is the future of feminism, count me out’
My thanks to AK for alerting me to a wonderful article printed in the Daily Telegraph in May (link below). I’m personally delighted that feminists expend their time and energy seeking their Pyrrhic victories – ‘Lose the Lads’ Mags’ will be their next ‘successful’ one. Before long the Sun will stop printing pictures of topless women on Page 3, and thereafter, presumably, no woman will ever again suffer violence at the hands of a man.
Why am I pleased the feminists keep winning their silly little battles? It tells people who don’t understand that feminism is a hate-driven female supremacy movement – the vast majority of people, but fewer with every day that passes – that feminists will do all they can to demonise men, and deny them any pleasures in life. And you have to ask, were the young women forced to wrestle in jelly? Somehow I think not, any more than the young women who appear in Lads’ Mags, or on Page 3 of the Sun.
I’m reliably informed that feminists chew on slices of lemon first thing every morning to set their expressions for the day, and chew on further slices at regular intervals. It’s about time normal women (non-feminists) collectively said to these sour-faced harridans:
YOU DON’T REPRESENT US!!!
Enjoy:
Carol Sarler to Laura Bates, Caroline Criado-Perez and other young feminists: ‘Do stop whining, sisters!’
My thanks to a supporter for pointing me to Carol Sarler’s article (link below) in today’s Daily Mail. It’s refreshing to see a journalist of either gender criticise The Everyday Whining Project. Long overdue, to put it mildly.
‘I couldn’t stop hitting my husband’
It’s now widely recognised that women are at least as aggressive as men towards their intimate partners. Indeed, the highest reported levels of interpersonal violence (‘IPV’) are found in lesbian couples. Academic studies on propensities towards IPV are consistent in their findings:
The ’21 key facts’ about IPV in our public consultation document have generated a lot of interest:

It’s not often you read accounts of IPV written by female perpetrators, but the following has just been drawn to our attention:
