Enjoy (video, 28:01).
Paul and Tom are inviting people to appear on the programme, and we hope some of you will take them up on the offer. Rob Tierney, an Australian supporter, introduces the first story in the new episode, concerning a story we ran two weeks ago, Michelle Vanbuskirk, American, 43, who drunkenly attacked cabin crew and passengers forcing pilot to turn back mid-Atlantic to Heathrow, spared jail. Rob reads out some of our commentary on the case. Ms Vanbuskirk escaped a prison sentence because… well, you know why. The usual.
Rob was the driving force behind “Jumping for Men & Boys”, an Australian fundraiser for charities working to reduce the incidence of male suicide. Along with Tom, the videomaker and editor of the presentations at the last three ICMIs, I met Rob for a few beers during the conference in Gold Coast in 2017, and when he came to the UK past year. An inspiring man who has got through some challenging issues in life – including health issues – with courage and fortitude. Rob, we salute you.
