There are many unassuming yet impressive individuals in the men’s rights movement, and one of them is Rob Tierney, 58, an Australian. We had been in touch for some months before the 2017 conference in Australia, and I had the great pleasure of sharing a few beers with him there.
Rob worked in Air Traffic Control, and the outline of his story is here. It mainly consists of notes drawn from a speech he gave to a recent Whistleblowers Australia conference, at the end of which he (and many in the audience) were in tears. The text highlighted in yellow is his own.
Rob has suffered some severe health problems in recent years, but has been getting valuable support from a therapist over Skype.
He’s hoping to make it to the UK later this year. I much look forward to meeting him again.
