My thanks to Rod for alerting me to the work of John Callahan. He was an American cartoonist, and died in 2010. He took up drawing cartoons after he became a quadriplegic, following a car accident.
Callahan was adopted as an infant, and at eight years of age, he was molested by a female teacher. He began drinking alcohol at 14.
