Ellen Orange (Durham University student): ‘Feminism – an outdated term?’

The students at one of the most prestigious universities in the UK, Durham university, have an online magazine, Palatinate. We were delighted to be informed by a student at the university about an insightful article by Ellen Orange on the Palatinate website (link below). I’ve posted a couple of comments, as have some other MHRAs, and I invite you to join us and  do likewise. We need to support brave and intelligent women such as Ellen.

About Mike Buchanan

I'm a men's human rights advocate, writer, and publisher. My primary focus is leading the political party I launched in 2013, Justice for Men & Boys (and the women who love them). I still work actively on two campaigns I launched in early 2012, Campaign for Merit in Business and the Anti-Feminism League. In 2014 I launched The Alternative Sexism Project, aiming to raise public understanding that the sexism faced by men and boys has far more grievous consequences than the sexism faced by women and girls.

  • It was most satisfying seeing the responses that gave the full facts. Hopefully these guys will be out there in the real world.

  • I think you are utterly absurd! It’s men like you who make women so “annoying” if you will. Feminists are for protection of themselves and to come together as a community to avoid unreasonable men like you. I hope that you will realize one day that women are superior to men and feminism makes this world a better place. You need to be educated in the area of women because clearly you are not, and are quite frankly idiotic when it comes to this topic. You should be ashamed of your actions and state your opinion politely because it sounds like you hate women, and a woman made you.

    • Janette, I can’t see how your comment relates in any way to this particular blog post, linking to an insightful article by a female student. Normally I don’t publish off-topic comments, but it always makes my day when feminists post comments which are so profoundly stupid I don’t even need to explain WHY they’re stupid. So thanks for making my day.
