The Male Room – just when you thought the BBC couldn’t get worse…

Our thanks to Paul for alerting us to a programme that’s just started on BBC Radio 4, The Male Room. There will be three 30-minute long episodes, starting at 23:00 on Mondays:

Tonight – The Inadequacy Edition

Olly Mann and guests tackle male feelings of inadequacy.

12 December – The Angry Edition

Olly Mann and guests explore anger – repressed and explicit.

19 December – The Heroic Edition

Late-night discussion featuring the conversations men do not often have on air.

I’m listening ‘live’ to the first episode, and it’s even worse than I was expecting. Within a few minutes of the start of the programme the words ‘feelings’ and ’emotions’ must have been uttered 10+ times, ‘vulnerability’ and ‘patriarchy’ several times, likewise ‘toxic masculinity’. We’ve already heard from two manginas – one is looking forward to becoming a ‘house husband’, his wife earns a lot more than him – and Kate Smurfwit, Lying Feminist of the Month, a feminist ‘comedian’ (i.e. reliably unfunny), apparently an expert on men’s issues. He then meets men at the feminist-compliant Being a Mangina Festival.

The presenter is Olly Mann – second from the left in the photo above – a mangina with a surely bright future at the BBC if he carries on like this.

So, a mangina presenter, two mangina studio guests, and a feminist ‘comedian’ – BBC ideological balance at its finest.

We’ll post all three programmes on our YouTube channel in due course.

If everyone who read this gave us just £1 – or even better, £1 monthly – we could change the world. Click here to make a difference. Thanks.

About Mike Buchanan

I'm a men's human rights advocate, writer, and publisher. My primary focus is leading the political party I launched in 2013, Justice for Men & Boys (and the women who love them). I still work actively on two campaigns I launched in early 2012, Campaign for Merit in Business and the Anti-Feminism League. In 2014 I launched The Alternative Sexism Project, aiming to raise public understanding that the sexism faced by men and boys has far more grievous consequences than the sexism faced by women and girls.

Ah! If it is worse you are after…..try watching the BBC 24 hour news 100 women interview. The 3 minutes I watched some woman being empowered by not wearing make-up for 3 weeks or something. A couple of nights later they broadcast that the following 100 women interview would be the female head of Santander speaking of sexism in banking.

    • Ah yes, female empowerment through not wearing make-up. There was a double-page spread in The Times recently in which a ‘make-up artist to the stars’ revealed the secrets of the ‘no make-up’ look. Basically, as you would expect, it involves wearing make-up. Take some beautiful women of more mature years, apply some slap that won’t be too obvious, then shoot in monochrome in order to hide skin flaws. Simples! But how is this empowerment? It’s not. It’s an attempt to deny female narcissism, whilst demonstrating… er… female narcissism.

  • What a pack of assholes I am so glad I don’t have a TV anymore and don’t pay for this twisted crap.
Murdering men and boys is great money for Feminism! Now they’ve discovered that they can cash in on grave robbing too, – by running male suicide charities, – and this type of crap.
Middle-class Cucks joining Feminists, cashing in on man-bashing with sadistic snide, derogatory comments about the male problem. Ohhhh the male problem, lets increase boys Ritalin and re-education.
Plus the narcissistic cry-bully authority Feminist to revere and worship, with permission of course.
Yes all we need is for men to be more like woman!
There, no point listening to the shows now.
