University of York fails to celebrate International Men’s Day… again.

A tip of the hat to Jack Hadfield, a student at the University of Warwick, for this piece for Breitbart.

About Mike Buchanan

I'm a men's human rights advocate, writer, and publisher. My primary focus is leading the political party I launched in 2013, Justice for Men & Boys (and the women who love them). I still work actively on two campaigns I launched in early 2012, Campaign for Merit in Business and the Anti-Feminism League. In 2014 I launched The Alternative Sexism Project, aiming to raise public understanding that the sexism faced by men and boys has far more grievous consequences than the sexism faced by women and girls.

One of the original signatories at York was, for a brief while, my supervisor as a postgrad there. I’ve never regretted abandoning my studies but always regretted choosing to study there for an MA. A dreadful place with a lot of lesbians and a strong anti-man bias, at least when I was there, twenty years ago.

  • In a way its heartening that there are students ready to call out York on this. I wonder if the boldness of the feminist establishment is starting to wake up young men to the double standard. I’m very much reminded of Josh’s analysis at this years conference.

I don’t recognise the University of York.
