About Mike Buchanan

I'm a men's human rights advocate, writer, and publisher. My primary focus is leading the political party I launched in 2013, Justice for Men & Boys (and the women who love them). I still work actively on two campaigns I launched in early 2012, Campaign for Merit in Business and the Anti-Feminism League. In 2014 I launched The Alternative Sexism Project, aiming to raise public understanding that the sexism faced by men and boys has far more grievous consequences than the sexism faced by women and girls.

  • I have to say the Soccer team handed it to them on a plate. Hardly “Rape Culture” but pretty stupid behaviour.

It might be stupid behaviour but it is the sort of stupid behaviour that groups of young people get involved in. Notice how these sanctions only apply to the males. Isn’t there actually an APP whereby girls can rate their date’s performance?
This sort of one sided retribution will only get worse with the likes of the $385000 p.a. that the University of Michigan’s new diversity chief will get.
Keep paying the big bucks and any witch finder general is bound to actively seek out any offence no matter how trivial.

      • I think the problem isn’t so much the seeking out offences I’m afraid, unless young men are radically different from my youth. It is that such stuff is then woven into a tale that supports “kangaroo courts” for very serious crimes (or accusations of crimes).
I don’t have a solution for this but I think there is a problem in that young men are risky, testing and push against boundaries .And some get into trouble. Of course this isn’t some plot for dominance or part of a gender conspiracy, my own youthful misdemeanours (motorbikes)were bravado.
As you say its that it gets wrapped into “diversity”. The difficulty is that one can appear to condone bad behaviour.

  • it was a simple ‘locker room type’ behavior by the boys. It is completely natural to young men and if you think it is a good idea to cleanse them of it, I am afraid your thought processes have already been contaminated by the feminist PC culture nrjnigel. The women/girls’ teams are basically laughing stock as compared to men’s teams and it comes as no surprise to me that the young men see it that way too and do not take them seriously… because that’s the way it actually IS..

    • But the point is that they took it out of the locker room. I agree that it is precisely the sort of “trash talk” that goes on unless my youth was very different. But it is a “gift” to those who want to spin it into something more sinister.

  • I understand your point nrjnigel, but then it is time to cut the ‘crapolla’ and say openly that the women’s teams play so poorly that the male players can not take them seriously at all and the only thing they can possibly respect and admire is the female players’ physical attraction.
Because that is the plain truth. Why should men be prevented from saying this obvious truth ?
Only those resigned to live under feminist lies need to conform to it. Not those who want to be free and have free speech. And if the female players can not see the obvious truth, then I am afraid someone has to start telling them that, instead of antagonizing the male players.
The problem is that as long as men are willing to accept all of this nonsense due to their gentleman upbringing and thus feel uncomfortable to say the obvious truth to women, this idiocy and unfairness will not only continue, but will be getting more and more insane, far more than it already is.
It’s your choice. Either insist on being a gentleman and watch complete madness take hold, or put aside the mask and start telling women how it really is, as unpleasant as that may be. It has becoming more urgent with every passing day.
