About Mike Buchanan

I'm a men's human rights advocate, writer, and publisher. My primary focus is leading the political party I launched in 2013, Justice for Men & Boys (and the women who love them). I still work actively on two campaigns I launched in early 2012, Campaign for Merit in Business and the Anti-Feminism League. In 2014 I launched The Alternative Sexism Project, aiming to raise public understanding that the sexism faced by men and boys has far more grievous consequences than the sexism faced by women and girls.

The article fails in some respects. The falling academic achievements of boys, their engagement with education and their subsequent behaviour are manifestations of the West’s commitment to radical feminism. Such feminism despises everything male, we see this in the media, in advertising, in education, in sport, in science, in just about every aspect of our lives.
Everything and anything has to be girl friendly or it is ridiculed, starved of funds or brought to heel. In my boyhood I played football and practised judo at the YMCA. Today the YMCA seems more focussed on single mothers whereas the YWCA is a proudly feminist organisation. Another feminist organisation is the Girl Guides while the Scouts take both sexes and are heading towards being feminist as well.
No matter how privileged and pampered and supported by the state females now are, they continually and aggressively whine that anything and everything is misogyny which, in turn, requires more resources in terms of education, affirmative action hiring, funding and police intervention to combat.

That, in as near a nutshell as I can make it, is why boys fail in education and why male unemployment rises, and why male suicide is so massive and why male prisons are so full.

  • I agree with Cheannaich. Western men created this anti-men society by endlessly and wholly kissing up to women, on gentleman grounds, giving them a free hand in formulating policies, no matter how insane. In no other society on this planet are men so discriminated against as in western countries with the gentleman culture.
Is being a gentleman really worth all this madness and injustice ? Hardly, but until men come to grips with it, we will see a lot of madness, a lot of abuse of our boys, our sons. Shame on the fathers and shame on the men for kissing up to feminist women.
