Laura Perrins: Men have made things a lot easier for women

Insightful.

About Mike Buchanan

I'm a men's human rights advocate, writer, and publisher. My primary focus is leading the political party I launched in 2013, Justice for Men & Boys (and the women who love them). I still work actively on two campaigns I launched in early 2012, Campaign for Merit in Business and the Anti-Feminism League. In 2014 I launched The Alternative Sexism Project, aiming to raise public understanding that the sexism faced by men and boys has far more grievous consequences than the sexism faced by women and girls.

  • If men did not turn a blind (gentlemanly) eye to women’s shortcomings in many types of work, chances are women would not be claiming work performance equality any time soon. There are numerous examples for this, like in professional tennis, the military, the justice system, etc. The entire feminist movement rests on the fact that men, due to their gentleman upbringing, are reluctant to state the obvious openly. But due to the increasing feminist rhetoric and anti-man vitriol, this is something men need to start doing, unfortunately.
