Independent: Tory MP claims militant feminists do not really believe in equality

If you want to understand why The Independent, a once-respected title, now a left-leaning rag – I was a subscriber for some time after its launch in 1986 – ceased producing a print edition five months ago, this should help. Both the hyperlinks will take you to recent pieces in The Guardian.

About Mike Buchanan

I'm a men's human rights advocate, writer, and publisher. My primary focus is leading the political party I launched in 2013, Justice for Men & Boys (and the women who love them). I still work actively on two campaigns I launched in early 2012, Campaign for Merit in Business and the Anti-Feminism League. In 2014 I launched The Alternative Sexism Project, aiming to raise public understanding that the sexism faced by men and boys has far more grievous consequences than the sexism faced by women and girls.

  • Blimey. A dizzying profusion of articles. I have written to Mr. Davies in support not knowing what else that may encourage him. Meanwhile I hope J4MB. are getting “hits” from all this outrage.

I too bought the Independant for a while, mainly as a change from the Telegraph- which it was like in some ways.

Then, one day I read an item by one ‘Bea Campbell’, then unknown to me. I forget exactly what it was about, but suffice it to say I flung the paper away in disgust – and, gentle reader, I never soiled my fingers with its print again!
