Milo Yiannopoulos has pulled out of the conference

Six months ago Milo Yiannopoulos, having accepted an invitation to speak at the conference, posted this on Breitbart.

With just four weeks to go before the conference, we’ve just received the following from one of Milo’s people:

Due to our summer tour schedule plus RNC & DNC we are not able to make it overseas for this event. Much apologies about this, hopefully we can reschedule something for the future.

I’m reminded of something to which we linked a couple of weeks ago, the immortal words of Battery Sergeant Major Tudor Bryn Williams (Windsor Davies) in the classic BBC sitcom It Ain’t Half Hot Mum (1974-81):

Oh dear. How sad. What a pity. Never mind.

About Mike Buchanan

I'm a men's human rights advocate, writer, and publisher. My primary focus is leading the political party I launched in 2013, Justice for Men & Boys (and the women who love them). I still work actively on two campaigns I launched in early 2012, Campaign for Merit in Business and the Anti-Feminism League. In 2014 I launched The Alternative Sexism Project, aiming to raise public understanding that the sexism faced by men and boys has far more grievous consequences than the sexism faced by women and girls.
