Higher Education Policy Institute: After the furore – reviewing our own work on boys’ underachievement

Our thanks to Martin for this. The final three paragraphs consist of HEPI’s justification for having committed the heinous crime – in the eyes of some of the report’s critics – of having referenced J4MB in their recent report, Boys to Men.

While we welcomed the report, we had reservations, similar to those William Collins outlined in his blog piece. In the new HEPI blog piece there are comments that are worthy of the Fawcett Society. An example:

We even pointed out that, in higher education itself, female staff face a glass ceiling while men often pass by in a glass elevator.

What a load of glass b***ocks.

About Mike Buchanan

I'm a men's human rights advocate, writer, and publisher. My primary focus is leading the political party I launched in 2013, Justice for Men & Boys (and the women who love them). I still work actively on two campaigns I launched in early 2012, Campaign for Merit in Business and the Anti-Feminism League. In 2014 I launched The Alternative Sexism Project, aiming to raise public understanding that the sexism faced by men and boys has far more grievous consequences than the sexism faced by women and girls.
